GERMAN FALL LAGER
Brewed with a base of German Pilsner, honey malt, melanoidin, and smoked malts. Subtle flavors of currant, field honey, lightly toasted bread, and sweet smoke. Fermented with lager yeast sourced from the Kloster Andechs Monastery, this beer finishes clean with a medium malt body. Apple cider sourced nearby at Russell Orchards and added during fermentation, offers the aroma and flavor of McIntosh apple while leaving the beer with a dry crisp finish. These elements come together to give notes of smoky black pepper and clove, field honey, and orchard apple in the nose. The beer finishes crisp like a brisk late fall day.
