Position Summary

The Packaging Technician is involved in all facets of the packaging and warehouse operations. This role will be part of a team that works to ensure that each batch of beer is impeccably crafted.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
● Washing kegs
● Filling kegs
● Assembling case trays
● Packing case trays with finished product and palletizing
● Operating the PakTech applicator
● Operating the canning line labeler
● Operating the can depalletizer
● Measuring can seams and assisting with other quality control
● Assisting with cleaning, maintenance, and lubrication of the canning line
● Assisting with CIP of the can filler 
● Assisting with warehouse organization and inventory control
● General cleaning and trash & recycling disposal

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

● Stellar work-ethic, attention to detail, and integrity
● High School Diploma or GED graduate
● Must be of legal age to work with and serve alcohol
● Mechanical aptitude
● Ability to work independently and as an engaged team member
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask responsibilities routinely
● Strong interpersonal skills
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Strong ability to develop new skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee must be able to lift and move up to 55 pounds independently. The employee is frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle, feel, and manipulate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and must be capable of sensing tastes and smells. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. While performing the functions of this job, the employee must frequently wash their hands.
